Based on a personal inspection, I hardly notice any fading, which is common with khaki-colored clothing. There is a slight fading on the cuffs and hem. There are fine scratches on the metal fasteners. It's 100% nylon, but has a matte texture and doesn't feel crinkly, making it comfortable to wear.
