I knitted this to resemble a Gugelhupf-shaped Bavarian cream dessert. The size is perfect for a pot with a maximum diameter of 11cm (total length from handle to spout 19cm), height 11cm, and a capacity of about 500cc. It will fit most 2-cup teapots. For London Pottery teapots, the silhouette looks better without using the strainer.
