The thick internal padding securely protects the instrument, and the reinforcement on the circular surfaces and rims is excellent, maintaining a perfect circular shape. This allows the case to conform almost completely to the instrument when stored, providing protection comparable to a semi-hard case. The handle has a heavy-duty plastic grip, eliminating hand pain during transport. The bottom surface (photo 10), which is the base when standing, is also waterproofed and reinforced with four feet, so you don't have to worry about placing it on a wet surface. The detachable strap (photo 12) is also convenient... although it would be perfect if it had a storage pocket. The zipper is smooth and opens in two directions.
