This area is blessed with high-quality kibushi clay and has a long history of earthenware production since ancient times, even mentioned in the poems of the Manyo poet Otomo no Tabito, making it a land rich in culture and history. While preserving the simple, ancient methods, it is characterized by traditional pottery techniques revived for the modern era. The potters are passionate about the mystery of earth and fire, striving daily to meet the needs of the people.
