This is a Nagoya obi made of genuine silk (crepe weave). It features a design of ornate carriages and swallowtail butterflies, with voluminous embroidery. The taiko (back) design features a flower basket centered with large peonies and ornate carriages, while the front design features swallowtail butterflies. It has the elegant, refined fragrance of Kyoto. Although it's a Nagoya obi, it's quite華やか (gorgeous/showy) and can be worn for semi-formal occasions. 358.5cm x 30.5cm Although unused, it may have some damage due to aging from long-term storage, so I've marked it as "Like New."
