I bought it for ¥410,000... I asked my friend to get it for me because I wanted to try it out before buying. It's a model that's been talked about on YouTube and other platforms, and many people own it, but it does indeed sound good... However, since I used to play an old Alexander contrabass (with an inline valve system like a bass trombone), I couldn't get used to the Thein valve system no matter what, and I only used it for muscle training and long tones. Also, with the Hagmann valve, you need to maintain it by oiling it every other day if you don't use it for more than two days. If you insert the mouthpiece too tightly, the mouthpiece receiver will come off with it... It's an old-fashioned, stopper-less, screw-less insertion type. The slide moves smoothly with YAMAHA slide oil, without any problems. The sound is very good; in terms of operability and ease of playing, it's superior to the old Alexander I used to play. I haven't taken it out of the house, let alone used it in a performance, so it's in pretty good condition. The case is excellent; I'd want to keep it just for the case...
