The fabric is 100% silk, soft and pleasant to the touch, and made in the USA. It's a smooth fabric, a slightly thick tie, and easy to create a dimple with. I'm selling it because I've had fewer opportunities to wear ties for work, and I have too many ties. I haven't used it much. I believe it's in generally good condition, with no noticeable scratches, stains, or fraying. I would appreciate your understanding regarding any folding wrinkles from shipping and storage.
