This is a well-worn and sturdy work garment or short coat made from indigo-dyed kasuri-patterned striped cotton from the late Meiji to late Taisho periods. It has a nice texture. It has shoulder and back padding. There are stains on the back, sleeves, and collar, as well as some scuffs and wrinkles. Please consider it for wear or as material for remaking.
