Go-o Shrine is a shrine located in Kamigyo-ku, Kyoto City. Its former shrine rank was Bekkaku Kanpeisha (Special Grade Imperial Shrine), and it is currently a Beppyo Shrine of the Jinja Honcho (Association of Shinto Shrines). The main deities are Wake no Kiyomaro and his sister Wake no Hirotsugu, with Fujiwara no Momokawa and Michi no Toyonaga enshrined alongside them. Instead of komainu (guardian lion-dogs), the shrine has koma-inoshishi (guardian boar-pigs).
