Made around 1890. The entire surface is covered with the sharp, well-defined diamond-shaped cuts characteristic of Baccarat's masterpiece series, "Diamant Biseaux," which, with each ray of light, creates a kaleidoscope-like reflection, further enhancing the transparency and profound brilliance of the crystal. The lid's knob is cut like a petal, creating a soft halo of light on top, giving it the appearance of a jewel resting in the palm of your hand. The bottom is also adorned with sharp, beautiful cuts that radiate outwards, creating light rays that extend from the center to the outside depending on the direction of the light, emphasizing the three-dimensionality and shadows of the entire work. The sides are decorated with bronze, showcasing the flowing beauty characteristic of the Art Nouveau period, with plant motifs, ribbons, and garlands elegantly blended into a single design. As this piece was made before 1936, it does not bear the Baccarat hallmark.
