This is a purple clay teapot (kyusu). It appears to be an antique, and the bottom bears the mark "Wang Pengcheng Zhi." The body is engraved with plum blossom motifs, a simple yet tasteful design. A shifuku (protective pouch) is included. There is a scratch on the inside of the lid, but it does not detract from the overall shape or atmosphere, making it a piece with a sense of age. There are scuffs and signs of use due to aging. Please check the photos for the condition, and only purchase if you understand that this is an antique and a work of fine art.
