This violin was purchased about 15 years ago at an exhibition hosted by Chacott, a stringed instrument specialty store. The body cost 500,000 yen and the bow cost 200,000 yen. It was made in England over 100 years ago, but please note that there is no label on the body. As it is a more than 100-year-old instrument, it has a corresponding amount of wear and tear, but there are no functional problems as it has been regularly maintained. It has a depth that cannot be achieved with a new instrument, while still producing a lively and bright tone. The bow hair hasn't been replaced for about a year, so please have it rehaired if necessary. It will be shipped in a bam violin case. Thank you for looking.
