This is an original desk light 6556 Super, designed by Christian Dell and released in 1934 by Gebr. Kaiser & Co. of Germany.
The idell series, designed by Christian Dell, is considered a masterpiece of table lamps from the Bauhaus era.
In an era dominated by industrial, rugged designs, the soft curves of this design still feel fresh today.
This 6556 series is characterized by its round, soft form, making it a design that would fit well with modern interiors.
The structure is also very simple, designed so that after-maintenance can be done with just a screwdriver. A thick iron plate is inserted on the underside of the base to act as a weight, making it a heavy lamp characteristic of older models.
