A noteworthy point is that the curly figuring can be seen even on the unpainted interior, indicating that this is not just an aesthetic effect, but rather an instrument made from high-quality raw wood with natural figuring. This class of wood is rarely available nowadays, and an equivalent specification would likely be at the custom order level for current models.
