These plates are perfect for a variety of cuisines, including Japanese, Italian, and ethnic dishes. I purchased these but haven't had a chance to use them, so I'm putting them up for sale. The original box is included, but it has deteriorated slightly. I will protect the plates with cushioning material for shipping. If you'd like, I can also include a book by Murakami. This series uses semi-porcelain, a material that combines ceramic and porcelain, and is rare within yumiko iihoshi porcelain. The series was created in response to the owner's request for "something not uniform," resulting in plates with rich expressions. The deep, subdued green color was created by mixing glaze used in Oribe ware, matching the fabric and textile colors of the restaurant's sofas. The plates have a robust and tough impression while also feeling soft. Compared to the unjour matin plate within yumiko iihoshi porcelain, this plate is slightly smaller and deeper. It's perfect for curry, pasta, salads, and one-plate meals. It's easy to arrange food on and is very user-friendly.
