The main hawk, along with the gold leaf paintings, military fans, mallets, mirrors, and other auspicious patterns that adorn the entire garment, create a gorgeous look. The kimono fabric uses a textured fabric with a woven pattern called "jimon" throughout, resulting in a relatively firm texture. You can remove the inner undergarment (nagajuban) during the summer or when the temperature is high. A nagajuban that matches the Hatsumairi kimono is also included, and the strings are already sewn onto the front of both the kimono and the nagajuban, so you can use it immediately after removing the basting threads.
