This is one side of a hand-woven yukinko kasuri haori made of indigo-dyed cotton. Front panel: 24.5 x 168 cm Back panel: 35 x 156 cm Total length: 324 cm There are 28 yukinko motifs in a row. The fabric is a sturdy, navy blue plain weave, slightly darker than in photo 2. There is a small hole, approximately 8 mm in size, about 20 cm up from the hem of the front panel (see photo 3). There is a small hole, approximately 5 mm in size, 50 cm down from the shoulder of the back panel (see photo 4). As this is antique fabric, there were some stains on the front, but they have been cleaned with detergent. There may be some slight fading on the front, but the back appears to be fine. Please forgive any oversights. The garment has been washed, ironed, and serged to prevent fraying. It will be folded for shipping, so please understand that there may be some wrinkles.
