Red pine and black pine typically have either 2 or 5 needles per cluster, but rarely, there are also 3-needle pines. These are called "Sanko Matsu" (Three-Pronged Pine).
Sanko Matsu are considered lucky; it's said that putting them in your wallet brings financial fortune, and in your bag, they provide traffic safety.
From harvesting to packing, we use hygienic gloves. Please wash the pine needles with water before use.
