This is the original 2006 model of the New Balance M992GL, not the reissued version, and the same model Steve Jobs loved. The reissued version has one less shoelace hole. Personally, I feel the 2006 model is more like New Balance. They purchased it new when it was originally released and wore it a few times before storing it. After receiving it, I tried wearing it once, and the midsole inside cracked due to hydrolysis (photos 3 & 4). I stopped wearing it at that point, cleaned it, and stored it in a ziplock bag in a dark place. I thought it was a waste to just keep it stored without wearing it, so I'm listing it for sale. As mentioned earlier, there is damage to the midsole, but the rest of the upper and outsole are in good condition without any noticeable damage or dirt. Please understand that this is a sneaker that is over 15 years old. When shipping, I will put it in a current 996 box. Recently, there are many companies that repair sneakers, such as sole replacement, so I recommend having it repaired after purchase.
