Black lacquered geta (Japanese wooden clogs) with a surface grain known as "sabaki." The black lacquer makes the red and green thongs stand out, creating a fashionable impression. The waterproof finish makes them a reliable companion in the rain. Found during a house clean-out. They appear to be unused and in new condition, with no wear on the underside of the teeth, but have been stored for a long time. Due to shipping costs, the geta will be shipped without the paper box (it's unclear if it's the original box).
