I used this to help with the "back switch" problem (when babies wake up when put down). It was very convenient for putting my baby to sleep. Having a spare cover was also convenient. Both the cover and the baby carrier pillow are washable, and have been washed. There are no noticeable stains, but please understand that this is a used item before purchasing.
