Among Ghibli anime, "My Neighbor Totoro" boasts exceptional popularity. It's a wonderful work with a gentle and soft worldview that never gets old, no matter how many times you watch it. This is a wristwatch featuring Totoro on the face. It has a simple tonneau design, which I think makes it suitable for adults to wear. I thought I bought it about 10 years ago, and checked the warranty to see if it had the date. It was September 2016 (see image 9). As indicated, I purchased it from the Ghibli merchandise shop, "Donguri Kyowakoku." At the time, I was told by the shop staff that "Donguri Kyowakoku has no plans to design wristwatch products in the future (although other watchmakers may make them as licensed products), so once the current stock is gone, it will be discontinued." I remember asking, "By the way, how much stock do you have?" and being told, "There's the sample in the display case and two more," so I thought I didn't have time to hesitate and bought it. After that, since Kyowakoku isn't a watch specialty store, I was told that "we can't adjust the band (add holes), so please take it somewhere to have it adjusted," so I've kept it as it is. I'm quite slender, and I need to add about two holes to wear it, so I thought it would be fine to leave it as is until I used it... and so much time has passed. I've been thinking about whether or not I'll use it in the future, and while I could use it, I thought it might be a bit difficult for my age, so I'm putting it up for sale. As you can see in the images, the protective seals on both the front and back of the case haven't been removed, and the battery seal on the crown hasn't been removed either. It's an unused item (see images 2, 4, and 6). The box isn't crushed, but it had quite a few small scratches from the time of purchase, so please be aware of that. There is a warranty, but the warranty period has long since expired, and there's a possibility it could stop working at any time. Also, the battery inside is probably dead.
