This is a beer mug made by Tozo Konishi, a master of Bizen ware. Born in 1947 as the grandson of the master, the first Toko Konishi, he became a regular member of the Japan Kogei Association and was recognized in 2013 as the first Bizen City-designated Intangible Cultural Property holder, a testament to his skill. He has also held numerous solo exhibitions. Size: Diameter: Approximately 7.6 cm Height: Approximately 11.8 cm (Approximate measurements) Includes a ceramic history and instruction manual. Comes with a wooden box (kyobako). There are tape marks on the back. It has been stored and is unused. It has a very nice "hidasuki" (flame-kissed) pattern. Please use it as a free cup.
