Purchased on Mercari about two years ago. I've worn it outside about 10 times since I bought it, and occasionally wore it indoors to soften the leather. I've oiled it once with Mustang Paste. It's still in good condition. I am a smoker (e-cigarettes), and I don't have any pets. I don't think the smell is noticeable. The product is a tea-core leather item, and it's from the updated sizing version.
