It lived in Asia and North America from the middle to late Miocene of the Neogene period. It was about 1.3 - 1.5 meters long. Features: B. fricki, the largest species in the genus Barbourofelis and the family Barbourofelidae, is said to have been 1.5m or 1.6m long, with a shoulder height of 90cm. Its limbs were short.
