The pads have been completely replaced once, and some parts have pads made of different materials than the original to pursue a softer sound. I have lost the selection certificate, but it was selected by Haruji Yokogawa, formerly of the NHK Symphony Orchestra. The case has signatures from Daniel Ottensamer and Paul Meyer.
