The techniques from the golden age of weaving, the elegant patterns woven with cross-shaped kasuri and tortoise-shell kasuri, and the high-quality silk are rare fabrics that are difficult to obtain today. Shiozawa Tsumugi and Hon-Shiozawa (Shiozawa Omeshi) are designated as national traditional crafts. These are new remnants of fabric from bolts that were just woven at the time, but they have been stored at home for a long time. Please understand that they are old fabrics.
