This is the Kappa Daimyojin from Izu Nagaoka, made by Chikusui-bo. It is approximately 9.5 cm tall and 7.5 cm wide. This is a local souvenir made of bamboo, created by Katsuji Matsumoto, an artist who moved to Izu in his later years and gained fame for his delicate depictions of young girls. It has a unique design unlike any other. There is overall soiling. I am also listing various other folk crafts. I will offer a discount if you purchase multiple items.
