This is a tsumami zaiku (folded fabric craft) made using chirimen crepe fabric. The flower is an arrangement of the carefully crafted double-layered maru tsumami (round fold) ♡ It has a strong presence and looks very cute and gorgeous even with just one! Perfect for the baby's first shrine visit, first festival, New Year's, and Hinamatsuri (Girl's Day) paired with hakama (traditional Japanese attire for children) (^^) Of course, you can use it all year round with hakama, kimono, yukata (summer kimono), and jinbei (traditional Japanese summer wear)! It's a great item to have for small events ♡ I make chirimen crafts as a hobby. I made this using that chirimen fabric. Since I don't have a large stock of the same colors, I can't make the same item twice, so it's one of a kind (> <) You can also see it at #oribanaya_cii. The baby clip is 3.5 cm. I haven't attached a non-slip grip to the clip, but I've wrapped a ribbon around the clip, so it's easy to hold even for babies with little hair. You can also use it by clipping it onto your existing hairband. It's also cute to clip it on top of a hair tie. It weighs only 4-5g, so it's easy for babies to wear. ~Caution~ Chirimen fabric shrinks when it gets wet, so please be careful when handling it, and also on rainy days. It is made very delicately, so please do not pull or touch it strongly. I make them carefully, but there may be some glue overflow or distortion. I try my best to take pictures so that the colors of the chirimen fabric are as close as possible to the actual colors, but there may be some differences in color depending on the time of day or the type of light bulb.
