I think it's a good club to hit from the ground as well. The club face looks straight when you address the ball, and it has a good appearance, but it's easy to hook the ball. I highly recommend it to those who are struggling with slices (..). The popular CP 2 Standard grip feels just right, not too thick. The grip shows some signs of use, but it still has a normal grip strength. I don't think the grip needs to be replaced. (Just my personal opinion) For tee shots on narrow fairways, a 3-wood is more reassuring than a driver, isn't it?
