Thank you for your understanding. [How to Store and Care for Brass] Brass can become darker or develop green rust due to the oil and sweat from your hands, as well as the storage environment. Also, as a method to remove discoloration and darkening: There is a method of soaking it in vinegar for about 30 seconds and washing it off, or a method of polishing it with a cloth with a paste made by mixing baking soda and water in a 2:1 ratio.
