This is a new, unused item, but it is from several decades ago. It has been stored in its original packaging since purchase, but the bag is the type with holes (photo 7). Therefore, there is dirt on the bag itself, and the item inside the bag shows dust and signs of aging, such as scratches (photos 6 and 8). I think it would be fine after washing, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
