Reel Spool Bands Set of 5. The images show examples using Shimano Stradic C3000 and Stella 2500 spinning reels. The size is suitable for most manufacturers' 2500-3000 size reels (Image 1). Made of rubber, they stretch well and can cover SW series 4000 and 5000 size reels (Image 2). They also prevent scratches on the spool edge. (Scratches on the spool edge are critical for reels, leading to reduced casting distance and line breakage.) These are recycled from tubes, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. (There is no dirt, and they have been thoroughly cleaned.) Due to their thickness, they provide excellent spool protection and protect the line from UV rays.
