This antique (vintage) commemorative plate, manufactured around the 1920s-1930s, features an elegant ivory base and a vividly and meticulously painted memorial scene. The scene depicts: A church bathed in light. A boy in formal attire, wearing an armband, kneeling. Lilies offered before the altar. A priest with a gentle smile, dressed in beautiful lace vestments/alb, etc. Stained glass windows depicting Christ and the Apostles/Saints watching over. A white cutwork lace cloth draped over the serene altar. A sacred and noble blue staircase (presumably with a carpet). The ceremony's setting, attire, and beautiful, gentle faces. The inscription in Dutch reads: "Ter Herinnering aan Uwe Heilige Communie" - "In Remembrance of Your Holy Communion." The rim features embossed decoration, and the outer edge has a gold rim. It comes with a removable wire hook, making it convenient for immediate wall hanging.
