Thank you for viewing this item from among our many products. This violin is a handmade, made-in-Japan instrument by M. Suzuki (Masakichi Suzuki). It was manufactured around 1895-1900. It has an early label (6-coin label). This 6-coin label is the oldest among the Masakichi Suzuki labels, and was produced between 1895 and 1900. There are few of these remaining, and even fewer violins in playable condition. It is a very rare item with historical value. I purchased it 10 years ago for 200,000 yen. I have used it until now, but I bought a new one and have had fewer opportunities to use this one, so I am selling it. Sound check confirmed. It has excellent sound production, a very powerful and warm sound, strong low tones, and bright, powerful high tones. It has been adjusted at a famous workshop, so it is ready to play as soon as you receive it. The bridge has the craftsman's mark on it. The sound post is in place. The bridge has been replaced with a [BARSA Super Deluxe] bridge, a super-premium bridge made in Bosnia. The bridge alone cost about 20,000 yen. This bridge works very well with this violin, and the sound is completely different from other bridges.
