【Izawa Kanshu (Doryukutsu)】 1895-1954 A Rinzai Zen Buddhist monk from the Meiji to Showa periods. Born in Hyogo Prefecture. His given name was Sojun. His art name was Doryukutsu. He studied under Nakahara Nantenbo. He inherited the teachings of Reichikuken Shingetsu Tesshu of Yawata Enpuku-ji Temple.
