This is a kogo (incense container) with Hotei (the Laughing Buddha) on it. "Shoami" is written on the underside of the lid and the bottom of the kogo. I am not familiar with kogo, so I do not know if this is a work by Koho Shoami. This item was found at my parents' house, and I do not know how often it was used. The outside and inside of the box have stains. Please understand that this is a used item before purchasing. *Please check the photos carefully and only purchase if you are satisfied with the condition. Please refrain from purchasing if the item is different from what you expected upon arrival.
