Precautions for use
Vessels with cracks in the glaze have a coarse texture and are prone to absorbing oil and food coloring.
Please perform a "medome" treatment before using them for the first time.
How to perform "medome" treatment
① Put rice washing water in a large pot, place a cloth on the bottom, and then put the vessels in.
② Bring to a boil over medium heat, then simmer for about 20 minutes over low heat.
③ Let it cool down in the pot.
④ Rinse with water, dry well, and store.
Precautions before and after use
① Soaking in water for about 10 minutes before use will further reduce absorption.
② After use, wash with a soft sponge and dry well before storing. This prevents mold.
