It doesn't have the perfect precision of a Technics. Power turns on without any problems. Battery operation has not been confirmed, but it should probably be fine. I remember that I have never used batteries since I bought it in 2007. I think it's the type that can't scratch. I haven't scratched with this product. There are three repair points. ① There was a small scratch, so I polished it with sandpaper, but it ended up making the scratch more noticeable (see photo 4). Please cover it up with a sticker or something. ② It broke, so I repaired it, but the arm doesn't snap into place. The arm's fixation (see photo 5) is loose. ③ The rubber came off in one place, so I've attached a similar rubber (see photo 6). Sound also comes out from the main unit. Please enjoy listening to nostalgic records outdoors. It also has an output, so you can connect it to a portable speaker and enjoy records at a high volume outdoors.
