◎ This is a Morris M501, made in Japan. The neck and body are both carefully and well-made (see images). Regarding the sound, this is subjective, but it has rich overtones and volume, making it a very resonant guitar. ◎ Regarding scratches, the top of the body has only a few very faint, small scratches. The back has a few faint scuffs (see images). There is one small scratch on the headstock edge (see images). Other than that, there are only a few very small scratches and very faint scuffs, and it is in overall very clean condition (see images). The pickguard is shifted downwards by about 5mm (see images). The metal parts, such as the tuning pegs, are in clean condition (see images). The frets have some areas with discoloration, tarnish, and slight rust due to metal fatigue (see images). The fingerboard has a few slight playing marks (see images). ◎ The neck has no warping. The string height is approximately 2.5mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string (with a 1-yen coin fitting with a little room to spare), and approximately 1.6mm on the 1st string (with a 1-yen coin fitting with just a little room to spare). Overall, the string height is low, making it easy to play. There is no difficulty in playing in its current state, but if it feels difficult to play, there is room to adjust the bridge saddle by shaving it down. The frets are worn down to about 2-3/10ths of their height in some places (this is just an estimate), with 7-8/10ths of their height remaining.
