Moonstone is a type of mineral belonging to the feldspar group. Stones in the feldspar group include labradorite, sunstone, and amazonite, and they are so diverse that they don't seem to be from the same family. Moonstone is mainly orthoclase and includes albite. The layering of these two types of feldspar causes internal reflection and interference of light, creating an illusory effect called "schiller." This is a bracelet of moonstone with a very gentle, pale gray color and a beautiful, dreamy silver schiller.
