This is a shibori (tie-dye) yukata with a floral arabesque pattern, where white tie-dye stands out against the deep indigo.
The delicate flowers and leaves are connected, giving movement to the entire pattern.
The pale purple accents add a touch of understated elegance.
It appears to be unused, with basting threads still attached to the sleeves.
There are no noticeable stains or dirt when worn.
♡ About Shibori Yukata ♡
Shibori yukata are handmade one by one. Therefore, please understand the following points:
・There may be uneven dyeing, but please understand this as a characteristic of shibori dyeing.
・Occasionally, there may be small holes, which are needle holes created when the fabric is tied.
・Color-fixing treatment is likely applied, but dark colors such as black and navy may fade or transfer color. Please be careful when washing or wearing.
How to Wash
※ Wash separately as color may fade.
※ Do not soak, as the dye may come off.
・Fold the yukata and put it in a laundry net.
・Wash on the hand wash cycle of the washing machine, using a neutral detergent for delicate clothes (without bleach), for a short time, and rinse thoroughly.
・Dehydrate loosely for a short time.
・Shape the garment by patting it, and hang it to dry in the shade.
Hang it vertically.
(Ironing is not necessary. If you iron it strongly, the shibori will stretch and be ruined.)
