This is a wood carving of the poem "Kono Michi" (This Road) by the novelist Saneatsu Mushanokoji, who was active during the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa eras. Used condition (there are spots in photos 8-10). From the 1966 collection of Mushanokoji Saneatsu's poems, "Kono Michi," it emphasizes the importance of living according to one's inner "belief."
