This is a book published in two volumes (Part 1 and Part 2) that collected a series of works serialized in Chuo Koron from 1979 to 1980. It won the 33rd Yomiuri Literature Prize for Fiction. The story features Tadasaburo, the adopted son of Masaoka Shiki, and his friend Takaji as the main characters. First edition published in 1981 by Chuo Koron-sha. This book has been stored in a bookcase with a door for a long time. I believe it is in clean condition with no noticeable scratches or stains, but please understand that it is an old book before purchasing.
