However, I was able to overcome my slump quickly, and I only used it for a few practice sessions. I am now selling it. It seems to have the same inner diameter as the Denis Wick 1XL, which I am also selling, but perhaps due to the rim shape, it felt a little smaller. However, contrary to the impression on my lips, I felt that this mouthpiece could produce a very well-defined, clear sound with a solid core. Despite its compact appearance, it is quite heavy, weighing 258g. Perhaps the weight is why it can produce a thick sound even in the low register? <Condition> I purchased this new after trying it out at a musical instrument store. I have used it less than 10 times since purchasing it. However, there are scratches on the shank insertion area and some scratches on the rim top from the time of purchase. If you look closely, there are some scratches that might bother some people (they are not gouges), so I have included an enlarged photo for your reference. I have not polished it since I bought it new, so most of the scratches visible in the images are likely polishing marks that were present from new. I handle my instruments and mouthpieces with care, so I have never dropped it.
