Purchased 20 years ago at an antique flea market, from a shop selling Taisho-era tableware. It has a soft oval shape with flowers and pine trees depicted on the rim, and scenery, flowers, and characters in the center. There are many chips and areas stained light brown. It would be good for kintsugi (gold repair). The shape is easy to use and has a certain charm, making it enjoyable to serve food on. It fits comfortably in the hand and has a moderate thickness and weight.
