This is a document reader for the visually impaired. It scans documents and reads them aloud. It can also read out the latest balance of a bankbook. My grandmother, who lost her sight in her later years, seems to have purchased this in 2004, but it appears she never used it and stored it in a cardboard box. I found it in the closet while decluttering, so I am putting it up for sale. I briefly tested it, and while it powers on, it was not able to scan and read aloud documents. I would appreciate it if you could purchase it with the understanding that it is a junk item. The item has not been used and has been stored in its original box in a dark place, so the exterior is in good condition. A D-terminal cable for outputting to a screen is not included. The accessories are all shown in the photos.
