Antique maru obi. Estimated to be from the early Showa period. The number of antique obi is decreasing year by year. In particular, those in good condition with gorgeous patterns are becoming less and less common. While this obi has age-related wear and some loose threads, it is in quite good condition considering its age. Highly recommended for costumes, interior decoration, and as a collector's item. There are some loose threads in the woven fabric as shown in images 4 and 5. There is age-related discoloration throughout the obi as shown in image 6. This item is approximately 100 years old. In addition to the damage described, there may be inconspicuous stains or weakening of the fabric, but please be understanding. We ask for your understanding if you appreciate old items.
