This is a K. Yairi YW800 (with hard case). It's a guitar from 1980, so it's almost half a century old. Neck: Mahogany Fingerboard: Ebony Top: Solid Spruce Sides and Back: Jacaranda (laminate) This is a luxurious specification, the quintessential acoustic guitar, and I think it's a beautiful instrument with its decorations and wood grain. It uses the particularly valuable Jacaranda wood, and although it's laminated, it's a model known for its good sound. ★ The YW800 is a high-end model, but the difference from the top-of-the-line YW1000 seems to be the selection of the sides and back (no detailed explanation in the catalog).
