I bought this last winter to wear as an outer layer for a wedding. It's made of soft, lightweight fabric, and can be worn as an outer layer on warmer days. I've worn it twice. I think it would be cold to wear on its own in the dead of winter. The color is a marbled pattern woven with gray, black, and white fabric.
